In late February 2006, Beth & Ben went for a day trip to Yosemite to check out some snow. Both fortunate and unfortunate, it was between snow storms, so there was a bit to navigate around, but not nearly enough to call off the trip. Sure was a beautiful day!!!

In Mid-March 2006, Ben and Beth's grad school friend, Agnes, and her boyfriend, Ben, came out for a visit from Chicago. Again, work was a factor in hang-out time allowed, and Agnes and Ben had other friends / a wedding to keep them busy as well. But we still packed in as much time as we could. Here's the happy couple on the Golden Gate Bridge :)

On March 25, 2006 was Beth's "main" Baby Shower! Here we see shower coordinators Ashley, Beth's twin sister, and Laura, Beth n' Ben's Sister-in-Law, preparing the room in everything baby!

Even Ben and Tom got in the act.

Not sure what's happening here, but apparently something is being measured in "ribbon" units.

Beth carefully inspects all the gum babies. All the guests were asked to make a baby out of gum, leaving Beth to choose the best....... and Aunt Jan takes the win!

We would like to thank everyone that could make it out to the shower, and also a big "THANKS!" for all of Laura & Ashley's hard work! Beth had a great time!!!
