Japan Gardens
Beth posing at the Japanese Garden in Golden Gate Park. It was a pretty cold, dreary day, but the green was still spectacular.

China Town
Just a shot of one of the streets in China Town. Normally, there's a lot more people on the sidewalks.

Jayson @ Lombard St.
Ben and Beth's friend Jayson from Atlanta came to visit in mid-September 2003, so we showed him around our new area. Here Jayson is standing at the bottom of Lombard Street. In case you're wondering, he's not making any noise.

Alamo Park
While driving through the streets of San Francisco with Jayson, Ben turned to him and said, "What ever happened to predictability, the milk man, the paper boy, and evening TV?" They then stopped at Alamo Park to get a nice shot of the city. Though repeatedly asked, these people just wouldn't move. The girl in the white sweater, who they kept calling D.J, had just driven the family car into the kitchen, and was getting mildly lectured because of it. The guy behind me just kept saying "Cut-It-Out." Ben just posed for the picture, full of houses and all.

CAL Football
In October 2003, Ben's relatives, Jan, Tom, Megan and Max, from Los Angeles came to visit. One of the stops during the trip was to the University of California - Berkeley. While there, we went to their homecoming game. It was a lot of fun, even though the Golden Bears lost. They lost to the Oregon State Beavers 35-21, or something like that. Now where's that pipe fitter???
