It's been a few years now, but Ben & Beth wanted to put some pictures up to show everyone Hank's (Ben's Dad) final trip as a pilot for Delta.

The audio on this page was taken a couple of years prior to Hank's retirement off the internet.  It actually is Ben's Dad talking to Atlanta ATC on approach from La Guardia Airport in New York.

Here's a view of "the office" just after passing the Grand Canyon on the way to Las Vegas.

Happy Birthday Ben!!! As if having his dad's last layover in San Francisco before an impromtu retirement wasn't enough, how about that the second day of the layover was on Ben's birthday. No sleeping in on this day, as his dad's flight left at 7:00AM, and the San Francisco airport is 45 minutes away. Though early was rough, early made for amazing lighting. Here Ben's dad taxis to runway 28L, passing in frong of Mt. Diablo in the distance.

There they go! On a clear, crisp morning, they lift off for a departure over downtown San Francisco. This flight would take them to Atlanta. From there, they flew to Orlando, and finally back to Atlanta for Ben's dad's final flight as a pilot for Delta.

Special permission was given by Air Traffic Control to alter the departure route, giving a spectacular view of the San Francisco area.

A nice perspective of the immense size of the 767-400!

After travelling from San Francisco to Atlanta to Orlando and back to Atlanta again, the final day comes to a close.
