Beth & Ben would like to keep you up to date with the furry members of the family, Koko and Effie! Koko is a 15 year old Burmese cat, and Effie is a 2 year old French Bulldog. There's never a dull moment with these two around, unless of course they're sleeping, which seems to be pretty often. Maybe it's more accurate to say that there's never a dull moment when Effie gets a burst of puppy energy! :) Here we have Effie and Koko in a typical stand-off (taken when Effie still couldn't manage the stairs). Notice the "what is this thing, why is it here, and when is it leaving?" look that Koko has. The two are separated by a gate most of the time, and occasionally have some time to see 'n smell. The main problem is that while Effie hopes for a playing companion, Koko hopes for a vanishing act. Koko Effie
